RETURN QUESTIONS

If you would like to return an item, please follow these simple steps:

Do you accept returns for used products?
Yes, we do.

We accept returns for all products bought in our shop except:
• Games
• Books
• Cd
• Dvd
• Grocery goods
• Apparel


The Shipping box I received was damaged

If upon reception, you find that the shipping box is damaged, notify the courier immediately and ask to file a report. Japan-best.com is not reponsible for any damage that can occur during transit. We always make sure that your order is packed carefully, but we obviously have no control over a package after once it has been shipped. This is the duty and the responsibility of those who handle and carry the shipments. If your order was damaged during transit, you will need to handle this with your local post office. This is why it is important to file a claim immediately upon reception. If you have chosen EMS, we will also open a claim to the transporter on our side and, depending on the result of their investigation, you may be eligible to a compensation. For other transporters (SAL & AIR), we will not be able to file a claim on our side.


I want to return a product, what shall I do?

To return a product, please submit your request by following the procedure below.

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to the history of your order
  • Take a note of the reference of the order corresponding to the product you wish to return
  • Go to the contact page of our website - Click Here
  • Send us a message explaining the reason for the return.
  • In your email, please join at least 2 different pictures of the product you wish to return
  • Wait for our response

Please note that your request for return must be made within 3 days (72 Hours) of the reception of your order.All requests made after that period will not be accepted.

My request for return has been accepted. what shall I do next?

Once, we have approved your request for a return, please send us back the product to this adress:

Please note that the product must be shipped back to us within 4 days (96 Hours) starting from the time we have sent to you the email stating that the return was accepted.All returns which shipments have been made after that period will be canceled.

The product must be returned in its original condition.
If the product we have sent you was sealed and unopened, it must be returned to us sealed and unopened.

Please note that if any of the above requirement is not met, japan-best reserves itself the right to refuse or cancel the return.

Will you replace the product or refund it?

If we can replace your product, then we will happily do so. If not, we will refund you. Please read below to learn more about refunds.

CARD PAYMENTS
When a payment by credit or debit card is refunded, it takes on average between 3 and 10 days for the refund to appear on your bank statement.
Please note that this estimate is given by our credit card processor.

OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT
Payments by bank transfer and checks are not refundable.In that case, you will receive a voucher equals to the amount of your purchase.

Will you refund the shipping fees?

If the return is the result of our mistake (Product different that what you ordered or differing greatly from the description), we will refund all original shipping fees upon reception of the product.

Please note that the SAL/AIR REGISTERED option (Insurance for SAL or AIR) is not refundable.

If the return is not the result of our mistake, then we reserve ourselves the right not to refund the shipping fees of the original shipment.

Will you refund the return shipping charges?

If the return is the result of our mistake (Product different that what you ordered or differing greatly from the description), we will bare the cost of the return shipping charges.This is how it works:

If you have paid by credit or debit card, we will check the availables funds remaining in your ccbill account. If they are enough funds (ie:you have ordered several products, or have aready ordered with us in the past.), we will use those to refund the return shipping charges.if they are not enough funds, the return shipping fees will be given under the form of a voucher that you can use at your convenience in our shop.

If you have paid using a different payment method, the return shipping charges will be given under the form of a voucher that you can use at your convenience in our shop.

Please note that in order to have the return shipping fees either refunded or redeemed as a voucher, you will need to send us the receipt for to the shipment.

Please note that the amount allowed for the reimbursement of the costs of return shall in no case exceed the transport costs paid when ordering.

If the return is not the result of our mistake, you are responsible for the return shipping charges.
